His name is Alberto Podest\u00e0, the Italian designer famous for collaborating with the best Italian companies as a product designer and art designer. Alberto was born in Genoa and in his art he brings all the maritime culture and that openness typical of a city with a large historic port<\/p>\n

Alberto Podest\u00e0 after collaborating with world-famous calibre such as Citterio Meda, Patriarca Cucine, Seccose, Arcon, Simam, Morfeus, Simons, Oggioni Letti, Lamperti, Ceramiche ILSA, Interni luce Milano, Anteprima Italia, Waip, Modernindustria, Indelma, Berendsohn Hamburg, Centro Stile Fiat (Mirafiori), Ditras, Fold, Novadesign, Inedita, Acam, Penta, Porada arredi, Pacini & Cappellini, Ponti & Terenghi, Olimpia Arredi, Piemonti Salotti, Michelozzi etc..., he focused his attention on developing projects in the local area for Ceramiche G.Mazzotti Albisola and Adriano Podest\u00e0 Sedie Chiavari.<\/p>\n

A member of the ADI Association for Italian Design since 1986, only two years later he won the competition 'Odeon chiama progetto risponde' Arc Linea Cucine picked up in New York.<\/p>\n

Also in 1988 a profile of him was published in Omnibook 4th edition edited by Giancarlo Lliprandi, Angelo Cortesi, Pierluigi Molinari and in 1989 he took part in the Japan Design Foundation in Osaka and in the same year MODO magazine selected him as one of the best emerging designers with an exhibition in Padua. Still on the podium of success, he designed the lamps for the Politeama Massimo theatre in Palermo and the Municipality of Campomorone Ge, dedicated the exhibition \"DESIGN A PALAZZO BALBI\" to him, while in 2000 he created a maxi sculpture exhibited at Palazzo Ducale in Genoa on the occasion of the presentation of the works in the city in anticipation of the G8 in 2001.<\/p>\n

After having founded in 2001, on behalf of Citterio Meda, the \"DIVANVM\" brand chain of shops, in the academic year 2001-2002 he was visiting professor at the University of Genoa, Faculty of Architecture on the subject of Design and on this occasion he promoted the competition \"An upholstered item for the home\".<\/p>\n

In 2012, he made the seats for the '2012 Pinocchio Biennial' at Museo Luzzati - Porto Antico in Genoa and in 2015, he designed and coordinated the setting up of the Nativity Museum at the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia. Ceranesi Ge.<\/p>\n

In 2017 he presented the project 'Albysola', a homage to the Futurist movement in Albissola in collaboration with G.Mazzotti 1903. Spazio 46 - Palazzo Ducale Genova. In April 2019 he exhibits with Tullio Mazzotti at the exhibition \"Quattro passi nella ceramica\" at Libro pi\u00f9 - Ge-Pontedecimo.<\/p>\n

It is not possible here to list the countless activities that have characterised Alberto Podest\u00e0's professional life, but we can state with absolute certainty that, in keeping with the mission of Anima Mediterranea, Alberto is returning to the steps of the Done to Art On Demand, the creation of uniqueness, the interior designer, and the most pregnant scenography.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
